I have recently been re-decorating my new bedroom which I moved into a month ago, in relation to my new career path, working with interiors and blinds I decided to document my progress so far, not only for myself but incase any of you wanted to gain some ideas and inspiration if you yourself are re-vamping or decorating your own spaces.
My first port of call was Pinterest I have to admit, I spent way to much of my time searching for inspiration and pinning potential design ideas for my new space! But I found it fun and helpful actually, It gave me and idea of what I liked and didn't as well as demonstrating how different spaces can be adapted an used in a productive way. If any of you are interested I will attach the link for my "Interiors" board below.

Having spent the last few years in smaller space I was keen to find ideas that I could use working with a larger room. I wanted to keep the original raw floorboards and make a minimalistic, fresh and bright space for myself. I know some might think this boring but after being in a smaller room I was keen to create space and not feel cluttered and keep it as basic as possible. So I began painting... keeping it simple I stuck with white paint and added a grey feature wall, where the headboard of my bed would eventually be. I am currently still furnishing my room but its getting there, I took a trip to IKEA last weekend and began purchasing some of the key pieces. Its getting there.. slowly but once I have gotten further with my project I will post so more pictures of how it turns out! For now have a look at some of the cute accessories I bought at IKEA. My favourite purchase has defiantly been my plants! Small Succulents and Cacti :)
