I seem to have an obsession with blue at the moment as you can see. I have been on the look out for a long, floaty shirt and I finally found one in Bershka, which also has pockets! Another obsession of mine. The second blue item I purchased on my latest shopping expedition was a blue cozy jumper from Zara because who doesn't need a millions jumpers for winter. I have noticed an autumnal chill in the air which suggested to me I better add a few autumn essentials to my wardrobe. I practically live in jeans and jumpers in the winter months so I thought it was a perfect time to go shopping for a few winter staples. On my hunt for warmer wear, I came across some absolute gems! In the bottom right image I am wearing a faux leather material skirt and ribbed crop top. The blue skirt is from River Island I chose to wear it when I went to see Michael Flatley at the London Palladium last weekend (which was sensational by the way, if you haven't seen it I recommend you do!)

Luckily for me it seems to be everywhere! This tropical leaf print co-ord I am wearing is from Asos. I instantly fell in love with it, I also really liked the material it is made from, very soft, "scuba" feeling fabric. This co-ord is great for either dressing up and wearing it out in the evening or even separating the top an skirt and wearing them more casually during the days. All round winner for summer in my opinion!
The way I have chosen to style this look however, is more of an evening, going out look, paring the co-ord with some very high heels from Topshop, but don't be afraid to change things up a bit, I love wearing the palm print top with other outfits too. The length of the skirt is perfect for me too, not too long but not too short :) At the moment I am in to wearing tops that are high necked. The crop top of the co-ord has a great cut, it sits higher up on the neck and also curves in on the shoulders creating a nice shape to it. I will include links below as I believe the skirt is now on sale, so quickly before they are all gone I would recommend it! I will also mention that the gorgeous Topshop heels I am wearing here are also on sale. I thought the title was appropriate as I am half hanging out a window and all. Choker: Topshop

From the first time I lay eyes on this Andrea Iyamah two piece, I knew I had to have it, I even pre-ordered it thats how much I wanted it! It was unlike most bathing suits I had seen this summer and I fell in love with the colour and cut of the suit. I am 5ft 8 and am wearing a small top & bottom. Its really well made and I would recommend Andrea Iyamah to anyone, perfect beach or pool wear! Floppy white hat: F&F Tesco Cap: Asos Photography by Joe Cannon www.blackecho.co.uk I am really liking the magazine Porter, I normally go to pick up Vogue but fancied this for a change, it has some really good articles! I know its a little premature to be blogging about Autumn and Winter wear but I recently watched the A/W 14 catwalk on burberrys website and had to share some of my favourite pieces. With two of my favourite models strutting their stuff Delevingne and Dunn looks amazing in Burberry's latest.
The collections inspiration is from "the British Bloomsbury set of artists and writers at Charleston, including Vanessa Bell and Virginia Woolf, the Autumn/Winter 2014 runway collection celebrates the decorative arts. Hand-painted leaf motifs and patterned rugs combine in a patchwork of textures and prints. Brushed shearling and English-woven gabardine contrast with organdy and scottish-woven cashmere in shades of cameo pink, bright olive and elderberry". What struck me the most about Robert Cavalli's autumn / winter campaign was his choice in model. Rita Ora's conventional styling and look is different here. Although Rita has maintained the peroxide blonde colour, her signature red lips have vanished. Her styling and makeup makes her almost unrecognisable. I myself had to look twice before realising it was the well known singer Rita Ora.
